Dr. Shiyang Ryu is an aerospace and air mobility executive with deep experience in unmanned aerial systems, eVTOL development, and advanced vehicle management systems. He has led cross-border engineering and business initiatives across the United States and Korea, helping organizations translate next-generation aviation concepts into executable product and partnership strategies. His expertise spans aircraft systems architecture, flight control computing, avionics integration, and strategic planning for emerging air mobility platforms.

Dr. Ryu has served in senior leadership roles at Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Systems, and Overair. He led Hanwha's Air Mobility Center in the United States, helped establish strategic collaboration with Overair, and supported the development roadmap and execution of eVTOL programs. Earlier in his career, he led gas turbine engine and CAE teams at Hanwha Aerospace and worked at Samsung Electronics as a principal engineer in control systems and DSP firmware.

He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
