Sun-Ho Kang is a seasoned battery technology executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across the United States, Asia, and Europe. He brings deep expertise in lithium-ion battery materials, cell engineering, and product industrialization spanning consumer electronics, electric vehicles, and energy storage applications. Throughout his career, he has helped scale battery innovation from advanced research to commercial manufacturing, with a strong focus on building strategic partnerships and accelerating technology adoption.

Dr. Kang has held senior technology leadership roles at global top-tier organizations including Samsung SDI, Apple, and Volkswagen Group of America. Earlier in his career, he served as a Staff Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory and conducted postdoctoral research in the group of Nobel laureate John B. Goodenough at The University of Texas at Austin — one of the most distinguished lineages in battery science.

He holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.
